On 11th morning, the National Science and Technology Award Conference held in Beijing’s Great Hall. The General Assembly awarded the 2009 State Supreme Science and Technology Award. The winners were two academicians Chao-hao Gu and Chia-Tung Shun.The country’s highest award is given the number of not more than 2 annually. Winners must present a major breakthrough in cutting-edge science and technology or have made outstanding achievements in the scientific and technological developments.
